How can I register as a jobseeker?

You can create your account using the "Registration" link from the Navigation.

Is there a registration fee involved?

No, the registration and resume posting are completely free.

I forgot my password. What should I do now?

You can retrieve your password at anytime by using the "Forgot Password" link from the Navigation Menu.
You just need to provide the correct email address used during registration process.

I forgot my activation key and the system doesn't let me in. What should I do now?

You can retrieve your activation key at anytime from our system.
You just need to provide the correct email address which is used during registration process.

I would like to receive daily/weekly emails with jobs from the system to match my career preferences, what should I do?

You should subscribe to the "Job Alerts" service, and the system will send you daily or weekly emails with the new jobs posted which are matching your career preferences.
You can create/disable job alert, edit your career preferences by keywords, job category and/or city at anytime.

I would like to change my resume details, is it possible?

You can change the resume details by using the "My Resume" link from the Navigation Menu.
After making the necessary amendaments you can click the Save Button to publish it. There is also a Preview Resume link, which will display your resume as same as viewed by the employers.

I would like employers to download my word/pdf format resume file, is it possible?

No. Our job system have resume uploading function, but it is disabled currently. We'll consider to enable this fuction if many jobseekers have this requirement.

When I submit my resume to a job posting, does the employer receive my cover letter?

As soon as you submit your resume, the employer receives an email, which includes your resume and contact information. If you have entered a cover letter in your account, it will be sent along with your resume.

We accept Credit Card payments (via 2CheckOut, Paypal, Authorize.net...), check or bank wire transfers.

What is featured job?

Featured job is placed at top postion and highlighted with yellow color in the job category or job search results by jobseekers.

Why choose featured job?

Featured job can get more exposure and traffic as it is top-most and highlighted in the job category or jobseeker's job search results.

What is the normal expiration period of my posted jobs?

The expiration period of the job depends on the type of planning you have subscribed, but the normal expiration for the job is 3 months.

I would like to receive daily/weekly emails with resumes from the system to match my job(s), what should I do?

You should subscribe to the "ResumeMail" service, and the system will send you daily or weekly emails with the new resumes posted which are matching your job(s).
You can also unsubscribe from it by using” Resume Mail “Section from the Navigation Menu at anytime.

I would like to change my profile details, is it possible?

You can change the account/profile details by using the "My Profile" link from the Navigation Menu.
After making the necessary amendaments, you can click the Save Button to publish it.

I would like upload my logo, and display it with my jobs, is it possible?

Yes, you just need to upload your logo file on the "My Profile" link (from the Navigation Menu).

I would like to know whether my personal information is safe or not?

The network and data at ChinaHot are secure, and access to this data is restricted solely to authorized employees. The network and database are password protected. The security of ChinaHot website is consistently updated to provide the highest degree of privacy possible.

Can I buy job/featured job and resume contact view credits without buying a plan/package?

If your credit has expired and you don't want to buy an new plan just for a single job posting or resume view, you can buy an additional job/featured job or resume view contact.
