Weiming Education Group (WEG), established in 1999, is a co-operative organization which focuses on investment and management in the K-12 education system.

By making an alliance with the Affiliated High School of Peking University, WEG follows its educational philosophy of: “Academic freedom and inclusiveness,” and is committed to providing a high quality, internationalized education for students through continuously exploring and innovating better methods of school management.

WEG has established seven branch schools of the Affiliated High School of Peking University which have around 25,000 students.

They are:

AHSPU Shenzhen Nanshan Branch (founded in 2000)
AHSPU Guangzhou Experimental School (founded in 2002)
AHSPU Chengdu Experimental School (founded in 2004)
AHSPU Chongqing Experimental School (founded in 2006)
AHSPU Chengdu Xinjing Experimental School (founded in 2008)
AHSPU Wuhan Weiming Experimental School (founded in 2009)
AHSPU Guiyang Weiming International School (founded in 2011)

Recognizing the trend of globalization, WEG is providing international education to develop the intellectual, social and emotional potential of each student, and to prepare them to be responsible global citizen with not only Chinese, but world traditions and cultural understanding.
